Agent Peggy Carter (AU)

This is an AU version of Peggy Carter. After the war, time did not heal all wounds. Still reeling from the loss of Steve Rogers, she agreed to become one of the test subjects for the SSR's attempts to recreate the super soldier serum. Although she never gained the speed and strength of Captain America, there were 'benefits' to the experiments. Accelerated healing meant that she was an ideal candidate for dangerous missions. It also meant that she did not age in a normal fashion. Eventually, grief and disillusionment caused blurred so that the concepts of 'right' and 'wrong' to blurr. As long as an action was for 'the greater good', it was acceptable.
